It’s time to be totally and brutally honest about what those who still support Trump are.
They are a band of brain-dead racist, homophobic, sexist, xenophobic knuckle-dragging zombies stumbling through the fetid mists at the edge of our political scene.
They are stupid. Don’t like that word? Too damn bad.
Here’s the latest snapshot. This past week MSNow host Ali Velshi, a Muslim born in Kenya, raised in Canada and as of a few years ago an American citizen, commented on the upcoming 250th Anniversary of the United States.

Forget the Trump circus this whole 250th has turned into. Velshi points out that currently we are backsliding on promises of equality. Trump and his knuckle-dragging fellow white nationalists, aided by a corrupt Supreme Court, are pushing black folks – anyone of color really – to the back of the bus. The clock is being turned back.
Of course, the video of his commentary is being circulated throughout MAGA world and a sampling of the comments shows just what MAGA is today.

“White are the only race without a 3rd world country. We don’t have to listen to these shitskins.”

“Nobody comes here to be an American anymore. Heck a lot of native born want to loot it and destroy it. Somalis and Indians need to go along with every Muslim.
Democrats imported all these crap people so they could run what, a s-hole country?”
This is MAGA. This is Trump. This is today’s Republican Party. Anyone who still plans to cast a vote for any candidate at any level who still openly supports Trump is in league with this racist goons. They can say what they want, try to explain it, go to church and kneel down and pretend to be Christian. They are what they vote.
People keep telling me we need to quit attacking MAGA folks. We need to reach out. We need to appeal to their better natures. Bullshit. At this point anyone left in MAGA has no better nature. There is nothing to reach out to. They are the worst of the worst and we need to quit pussyfooting around and call them what they are.
Come November voters need to take the first step toward pushing the walking dead back into the swampy graveyards they crawled out of. Then in 2028, take Step Two and regain the White House.
The only thing that will prevent our country from getting back on track as it moves through its 250thAnniversary year is the Democratic Party’s ability to screw up a one-car funeral, fall on its own sword, go off on a pout. But that’s a rant for another day.
For today, it’s all about recognizing and saying anyone left in MAGA is stupid. Worse than stupid.
